Chico Groundwater Contamination Plumes

Chico Contaminated Groundwater Plumes
The Department of Toxic Substance Control has identified several contaminated groundwater plumes in the Chico Area.
The groundwater can become contaminated due to chemicals used by various businesses, including dry cleaners.
The different colors on this map represent contamination with different chemical compounds.
Blue = PCE
Green = 1,1, DCE
Purple = TCE
Yellow = PCP
Red Outline = Diamond Match
